For some time now I have played with the idea of, for an entire day, taking a photograph of every single person I interact with. Last week I picked a day and made it happen. It was a really fun experiment. Some of these people are complete strangers, some I see almost every day, but it was very interesting to capture peoples' reactions after they had just been asked for a portrait regardless of how well I knew them. I set a few firm rules for myself and followed them no matter the situation. Other than the few random "excuse me" moments while passing people on my bike, I told myself that if I talked to a person I had to photograph them. Also, only natural or room light would be used and other than a few times where I had a person move slightly into the light, most photographs were made quickly so that a person's immediate reaction and personality would be fresh on their face.
