Six days ago I wrote a post about seeing five bands play in one weekend. These are some photos from the tail end of that weekend. Ten friends and I piled into three cars and drove down to Denton, Texas to see Snarky Puppy play at an awesome venue called Hailey's. We jumped around to peoples homes, met parents, took town tours, had a snowball fight, waited an hour and a half for Anamia's salsa, and danced to really good music. All said, it was a great little adventure. Oh and a small side note...after the show, one of us (thanks Madeline) chatted with the lead bassist for Snarky Puppy and not only did she convince him to register for Norman Music Fest, but she also convinced the band to come play a house show here in Norman on March 12th at the 420 College house. Yea. Awesome. If you are reading this you better come...I'm designing a poster for the show right now.
